Networking: worthit?

I have background in Windows enterprise IT, so when I needed some network-accessible storage and backup, I built it on the Windows Server platform due to familiarity. I have two shares - one on SSD for fast transfers, and one on HDD for long-term storage and backups. It is mirrored to another drive for backup purposes and the whole server is backed up to the cloud using IDrive. I also use Backblaze on the two production machines just in case. They saved my ass once. Everything runs through a Cisco managed SG300-10 switch which is fine, and I use DD-WRT firmware on a Linksys dual-band router. I’d recommend Ubiquiti’s wireless access points though I have been happy with the firmware. Unless you’re on gigabit internet, and you’d know if you are, 5ghz AC-band Wi-Fi is probably sufficient for your use case. Definitely is for mine.
